Josh was born and raised in Brandon, MS but has spent time in several other places during his military career. After school Josh joined the Marine Corps in 2001 and was stationed in Camp Pendleton California, then later served a tour overseas during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. During his time in the Marines he served as a martial arts instructor in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program. Josh began a professional fighting career while in California, and has competed throughout the United States and overseas in boxing, Muay Thai, and MMA events. After his time in the Marines Josh moved back to Mississippi and started a career in Law Enforcement.
